Dalal Bridge

The bridge is one of the most prominent historical monuments of the city of Zakho. This bridge was built on the Khabur River east of the city of Zakho in Dohuk Governorate. Pera Dalal is believed to have been built in the Roman era, and the current structure appears to date back to the Abbasid era.

It was built with engraved and striped stones, and consists of six axes in the form of a semicircle, one of which is large in the middle and five on its sides. As for its walls, it is built of large engraved stones, and due to the lack of writings and structures on them, its history is not yet known.

Also known informally as Pera Peri, it is an ancient stone bridge over the Khabur River in the town of Zakho, in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq. The bridge is about 115 meters long and 16 meters high.
