Iraq is considered one of the countries rich in picturesque nature, and within these natural landscapes, there are many beautiful waterfalls such as (Gali Ali Bey, Bikhal, Jindian, and Solaf) and mountains such as (Zakros and Korek) and others.

Among the most famous waterfalls in Iraq:

Ahmed Awa Waterfalls: These waterfalls are located in Sulaymaniyah Governorate, and are the second highest waterfall in Iraq. The falls are 70 meters high and cascade through a stunning landscape.

Zakho Falls:These waterfalls are located in Dohuk Governorate, and they are one of the waterfalls rich in water in Iraq. The falls are 30 meters high and flow through green valleys.

Gli Ali Bey Waterfall: The name of the waterfall means Wadi Ali Bey in Kurdish. The waterfall is located in Erbil Governorate in the Kurdistan region in northern Iraq between the cities of Khalifan and Soran. It extends 12 km in length and is located between the Korek and Nawazanin mountains and is 60 km away from the Shaqlawa resort.

Kani Best Falls

These waterfalls are located in Dohuk Governorate, and they are one of the highest waterfalls in Iraq. The falls are 35 meters high and cascade through towering mountains.
